A thoroughly Italian take on the classic Rhodesian shape, this piece from Radice features a broad, Saucer-like bowl that stands at the fore of a subtly curved shank-and-stem arrangement. The bowl's wide waistline fills the hand with substance, and features a pair of wrapping beadlines that delineate the tapered rim from the heel's flare. Carved to resemble knuckles of bamboo, the shank emerges from the low-set transition and gives way to a demurely curved mouthpiece. A pronounced rustication dresses the lower bowl and provides a a rugged texture for the fingers to explore. Unsmoked.
