Italian Estates: Capitello Jonico Smooth Bent Dublin (L) (Two Column) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-37195

The brand of ex-Ascorti and Caminetto carver Enzo Galluzzo, Capitello was established in the early 1980s with Corrado Ripamonti in Leante Italy. The workshop maintained a rather small production throughout its lifetime, creating modern designs and inventive shapes before closing its doors in 1994. This gestural bent Dublin features a tapered bowl with a broad, flared rim that rests on a jutting heel at the fore of a slim round shank and comfortably bent acrylic saddle stem. Dressed in a rich chestnut finish, the stummel boasts fine flame grain around the bowl, with dense birdseye at the rim and heel.
