Italian Estates: Ser Jacopo Rusticated Billiard (Maxima Maxima Maxima Maxima Maxima) (E) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-42606

Since its founding in 1982, Ser Jacopo has become one of the most recognizable and iconic pipe brands in all of Italy. Under the watchful stewardship of founder Giancarlo Guidi, the workshop developed a style that has since come to define the Pesaro shaping aesthetic. Each Ser Jacopo pipe is imbued with a whimsical sense of character that reflects the brand's creativity and playful spirit. Stamped "Maxima" five times, this Billiard by Ser Jacopo is a colossal take on the classic form, offering almost 10 inches of length and a bowl over three inches tall. Said bowl houses a capacious tobacco chamber within its palm-filling form, ensuring plenty of long, leisurely smoking sessions. In typical Italian neoclassical fashion, the bowl holds most of the visual weight within the composition, its girth and height overshadowing the gradually tapering shank-and-stem arrangement that trails behind. Dressing this piece is a crisp rustication that lends a wealth of tactile detail to the thick stummel.
