The Savinelli family's legacy began when Achille Savinelli opened a humble tobacco and pipe shop in 1876, by 1948, Savinelli was one of the largest pipe manufacturers in the world. Savinelli typically adheres to their traditional shape chart, but Savinelli's Autograph line focuses on freehand shapes crafted from their finest burls of briar. This bent Dublin by Savinelli exhibits the series' penchant for stunning grain, as visible growth rings ripple around the bowl, perpendicular to wiry strands of vertical grain. Additionally, the vulcanite stem features a creative construction, as it features a hand-cut offset where it joins to the thick shank.
