This "815" Lumberman from Savinelli features their "EX" stamp, which considerably upscales the shape. The spacious chamber is insulated by thick walls, which, along with the comfortable acrylic saddle stem, allow for lengthy smoking sessions. Equally lengthy is the shank, which features rectangular flanks and oval curves on top and bottom, creating a gestural profile.
This particular examples is presented as part of the Savinelli's Opera line, which offers a slightly more reserved version of the dress pipe — compared to the ebony-and-silver color palette of the traditional dress aesthetic. In the Italian marque's series, pipes wear a dark, dark stain, but are accented subtly and tastefully by trim rings of natural-finished briar along the shank end.
