Italian Estates: Ser Jacopo Smooth Bulldog (L1) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-37368

One of the pioneers of the Pesaro school of Italian pipe making, Ser Jacopo boasts a rich history going back 40 years since its founding in 1982 by Giancarlo Guidi. This Bulldog is of moderate size, a bit of a departure from the larger renditions for which the workshop is known. The upright bowl is replete with the traditional form's flare, beadlines, domed rim, and sharply angled heel, and is paired to a crisply lined diamond shank and stem that taper together toward the bit. Said stem maintains the shank's structured shaping, all while keeping the composition elegant, and this piece is wearing one of the workshop's warm, glossy, chestnut stains, revealing some handsome grain throughout the briar, with wisps of flame grain surrounding the bowl.
