At once hearty and dynamic, this bent Apple is a handsome showcase of Ser Jacopo's distinctive shaping style. It features a large, supple bowl that stands atop a lifted heel and presents with a palpable forward-ebbing momentum. Out back, a stout shank marries a demurely curved mouthpiece, with this duo displaying a steady taper from transition to bit, slenderizing the aft side of the composition and placing further visual emphasis on the bowl. A crown of rugged plateau offers some textural contrast to the otherwise smoothly polished briar, which is dressed in a walnut stain that highlights some lively flame grain throughout the stummel.
