Furthermore, Castello's personal shaping approach to pipes helped cultivate the bowl-centric and whimsical Italian neoclassic aesthetic. This unique rendition of the Billiard by Castello features a flattened underside that extends from the heel to the bit, making this pipe a resolute sitter. In contrast, the top of the shank-and-stem arrangement possesses a linear taper from transition to bit, giving the arrangement a triangular profile. On the other hand, the bowl is of traditional Italian proportions, featuring a pronounced heel and cylindrical rise to the rim.
