Italian Estates: Caminetto Partially Rusticated Pot (JN) (7.L.14) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-37770
In the late 1960s, two Castello pipe makers, Guiseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, left to found their own workshop, Caminetto. Their skilled craftsmanship grew Caminetto into one of the most popular marques of the 1970s and beyond. This Pot by Caminetto showcases an organic rustication, dressing the bowl in a uniquely rugged texture that is as pleasing to the hand as it is to the eye. Out back, the thick shank is dressed in a walnut smooth finish for contrast, and the composition is topped off by a jet-black acrylic stem. Overall, this rather traditional and reserved shape exudes neoclassic Italian charm due to Caminetto's one-of-a-kind rustication.--Zach Podl
