After apprenticing at many Italian pipe making workshops, Bruto Sordini went into business with two partners and founded Ser Jacopo. After a few years, Sordini went solo, crafting handmade pipes under the brand name Don Carlos. Dressed in a vibrant auburn stain, this Pot by Don Carlos presents a striking array of vertical grain on the robust bowl. The shank-and-stem arrangement here is thick and lengthy, giving the pipe a balanced weight and keeping the smoke away from one's eyes as they enjoy their favorite mixture in the spacious bowl.
