A wonderfully robust interpretation of the Apple from Thomas Christiano, this pipe boasts a characteristically tall and robust bowl, one with a broad, flattened heel that tapers swiftly to a comparatively taut rim. The shank and stem ebb from the low-set transition and strike an arrow-straight line out back, their comparatively slender build dwarfed by the bowl's towering presence. A warm, ruby-hued smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights some handsome grain around the bowl, while a trim, silver-hued band accents the base of the stem and provides a dose of flash to the pipe in profile.
