A Freehand shape that tosses convention to the wind, the Fan is a striking design that utilizes plenty of briar and often showcases amazing displays of grain. In this Autograph rendition from Savinelli, the splayed shape is rounded at the heel and subtly contoured where the transition would normally be, to afford a comfortable, voluptuous in-hand feel. The entire topside is crowned in the briar's natural plateau, while the flanks canvas a vast tight-knit array of well- oriented flame grain, emanating from the heel to flare out all along the stummel.
