L'Anatra is perhaps best known for their Duck Head shape and for their iconic stem decoration which is, appropriately, a proud metal duck head. True to their penchant for playful shaping, this bent Ball features a unique element: a pinched, tapered shank that forms a kind of spear point at the transition, flaring from a concave indentation to form the bowl. This shank and transition create an aerial profile that is incredibly distinct and attractive, while the bowl rounds out the angularity with soft, comfortable curves. The silhouette of this pipe is simultaneously sharp and smooth, creating a handsome dichotomy that compliments the genteel character of this piece.
