Italian Estates: Castello Sea Rock Briar Bent Billiard (KKKK) (Pi) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-38240
While Castello's "Pi" stamp designates a mixed finish, the "mixed" part can vary quite a bit from shape to shape. Sometimes it's a classic melting wax aesthetic; other times it comes in a paneled partial rustication such as this. The stummel of this straight Billiard is finished in an extra-dark, near jet-black rustication, while along either flank, there are smooth polished, oval-shaped panels — acting as windows of a sort into fine birdseye. Said bowl rests at the fore of a paneled shank and subtly bent acrylic stem, making this piece easy to clench and sure to impress Castello aficionados.-Gabriel Bass
