While Ser Jacopo is known for their playful designs, this bent Billiard is a more traditional take on the classic shape, but in dramatic, robust proportions, as denoted by its four "Maxima" stamps. The towering, statuesque bowl presides over the subtly tapering shank-and-stem arrangement. The low-set transition and the aforementioned taper along the shank and stem keep the visual weight of this piece firmly anchored at the bowl in typical Italian neoclassical style. A craggy touch of plateau adorns the rim, while the rest of the stummel wears a copper-toned sandblast that coaxes out some neat stacks of growth rings across the bowl. Stylish, large, and rather charming, this Billiard will make a welcome find for those who enjoy robust takes on shape chart classics.
