Italian Estates: Mario Pascucci Smooth Bent Apple with Silver (lllb) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-38331

Mario Pascucci is an Italian pipe maker who follows the Pesaro school, originally working under Mastro De Paja, before striking out on his own. Now an independent carver with more than 30 years of pipe making experience, Pascucci crafts pipes with a defined neoclassical style that's on prominent display thanks to this bent Apple. The bowl here is pleasingly robust, filling out the contours of the hand nicely and offering a bit of firmness by way of two crisp panels on its flanks. The midsection is appropriately round, and the transition is tight, though it leaves plenty of room to drape a digit before giving way to a trim, curling shank. The junction here is marked by a broad silver accent which marks the shank's pairing to a demurely curved stem of tapering black acrylic. Dressed in a warm, auburn-tinged smooth finish, the stummel here showcases a wealth of handsome grain, the silver fitment here offering elegant contrast.
