Italian Estates: Ser Jacopo Smooth Bent Dublin with Silver (L2) (Maxima) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-38395

Founded in 1982 by Giancarlo Guidi, Ser Jacopo has built a reputation on crafting high-quality briars that are renowned for their robust proportions and playful shaping cues. The Italian atelier's style has since defined the Pesaro style of pipe making, each of their pipes imbued with a sense of character and reflecting the whimsical creativity that went into crafting them. Though Guidi passed away in 2012, his legacy lives on not only in the pipes he crafted, or the company he founded, but in the language of design that he helped to pioneer. A supple and softly stylized bent Dublin rendition, this piece from the Italian workshop is yet a robust pipe. Part of the brand's Maxima series, this pipe is stamped with the moniker once, denoting a larger than average size and a more full-bodied presence in hand. Weighing nearly a quarter of a pound, this pipe boasts a tight transition and arcing shank and saddle stem combination, the junction here marked with a broad band of silver. Dressing this pipe is a warm mahogany stain which reveals a wealth of handsome grain throughout, the briar accenting the stem base adding a handsome complement.
