Savinelli's Autograph line offers pipes that deviate from the Italian marque's standardized shape chart, with each piece individually handcrafted by a single experienced artisan out of select blocks of briar. The artisans are given complete creative freedom to follow their personal vision, and the results are always distinctive, as evidenced by this bent Billiard. Though fairly conservative compared to other offering within the line, this piece still retains a unique build, offering a heavy-set, forward-canted bowl that's set to a comparatively lean shank-and-stem arrangement. The bowl's active posture keeps the shape looking dynamic in profile, while the shank and stem's subtle bend lends some gestural notes to the overall form. Dressed in a honey-auburn smooth finish, the stummel offers striking flame grain along the bowl's flanks.
