Hearking back to the Ascorti-Radice era of the workshop, this Billiard from Caminetto wears the distinctive New Dear finish, which emulates the appearance of melting wax, a common motif in Italian pipe making. Shape-wise, this is a fairly straightforward interpretation of the pipe-chart standard, but rendered with a neoclassical sense of proportions, with the bowl holding most of the visual weight within the composition. It's a lightweight design that rests rather comfortably in hand, and it boasts a respectable chamber depth, especially when considering the relatively abbreviated size of the overall design.
