This example departs slightly from that convention, with a bowl that's more slender and topped by a rounded style of rim, softening the lines and matching with the shank and stem's gentle sinuosity. That said, the bowl is still tall and visually dominant, offering a wealth of chamber depth and plenty of surface area on which to showcase the briar's stunning flame grain — all highlighted by Cavicchi's signature, honey-blonde stain.
