More reserved and subdued compared to other shapes in Castello's portfolio, this bent Billiard possesses a touch of extra heft at the bowl, especially along the firm, pronounced heel. The shank and stem taper gradually together toward the bit, and their diminishing line works to keep the visual weight of the composition anchored at the bowl, in typical neoclassical style. A warm, smoky smooth finish commends the briar and showcases some vibrant whorls of birdseye across either flank of the bowl, while the jet-black color of the acrylic mouthpiece complements the hues of the stummel for a classic palette.
