This Pot by Radice boasts a squat, thick-walled bowl that stands at the fore of a sleek, arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement, In typical Italian neoclassical fashion, the bowl here holds most of the visual weight within the composition, its stout frame and muscular build overshadowing the trim, tapering shank and stem. The gorgeous Silk Cut sandblast dresses the stummel and highlights lively grain across the briar's surface, save for the rim, which features a stylized carved finish reminiscent of melting wax.
