Italian Estates: Castello Old Antiquari Dublin with Silver (73.235) (1992) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-40056
Since their founding in 1947 by Carlo Scotti, Castello's commitment to handcrafting high-quality pipes has helped elevate the reputation of Italian pipes to luxury status. Furthermore, Castello's personal shaping approach to pipes has helped cultivate the bowl-centric and whimsical Italian neoclassic aesthetic. This Dublin by Castello possesses a tidy, triangular bowl that is poised atop an intriguing heel, which features a sharp spur that extends from the fore and a stylized silver accent that protrudes from the underside. Out back, the ovoid shank is framed by crisp ridgelines on the flanks, which emerge from the spur at the fore and flow to the shank end. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in a chestnut-stained sandblast, save for the rim, which features a blonde smooth finish for a striking contrast.
