It retains all of the form's characteristic shaping cues, including a forward-ebbing bowl, a protruding heel spur, and a subtly bent shank-and-stem arrangement. The bowl's surging posture lends a subtle dynamism to the shape's silhouette, while the aforementioned heel spur enables the entire composition to sit sturdily without the aid of a stand.
