Italian Estates: Ser Jacopo Gem Series Fiammata Smooth Bulldog with Silver (Granato) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Ser Jacopo's Gem series is reserved for some of the finest briars the Pesaro workshop has to offer. Not only are these pipes immaculately shaped, but they also possess incredibly grain. The line is distinguished by its grading system, which uses gemstones to denote the quality of each pipe, ascending in order from Smeraldo ("Emerald"), Granato ("Garnet"), Zaffiro ("Sapphire"), and Rubino ("Ruby"), to Brillante ("Diamond"). This Granto-graded Bulldog is a fetching representative of the line, presenting with the robust dimensions and confident demeanor typical associated with Italian briars. Shape-wise, this piece sees a broad, saucer-like bowl positioned at the fore of a diamond shank and a slender tapered stem. A warm smooth finish commends the stummel and highlights a stunning display of flame grain and birdseye around the bowl, while a sterling silver accents adorn the junction and stem base, and tie the entire composition together with touches of flash.
