Crafted in 2007 for Pipes and tobaccos magazine's Pipe of the Year, this limited-edition Bulldog from Saviinelli boasts a broad, stout-walled bowl that stands at the fore of a sturdy diamond shank and a sleek tapered stem. The bowl's pronounced waistline is accentuated by a subtle ridgeline, which additionally denotes the rim's taper. The bowl's ridgeline is mirrored by the shank's firm, structural lines, which reinforce the shape's brawny construction and add some geometric definition to the form's profile. Dressed in a dark rustication, the stummel offers a wealth of engaging texture for the fingers to explore.
