The Hawkbill shape (known as the "Donkeynut" in Castello collecting circles) is a throwback to an old shape but modernized, with its popularity rising in the '90s and gaining appreciation since. The balance makes it easy to clench, and the curves are irresistibly elegant. This piece is an Old Antiquari, which is Castello's designation for sandblast. All black except for the swirled acrylic stem, it's also a dashing briar.
