The Becker legacy in pipe-making spans three generations. Fritz Becker initially started the family workshop as a complete autodidact, passing on his skills to his son Paolo and his grandson Federico. The family has German heritage, are inspired by Danish shapes, and produce pipes in Italy, manifesting a signature style that is uniquely Becker.
This Stack by Becker features a towering bowl, which houses a capacious chamber, ideal for those who favor longer smoking sessions. Out back, the shank is quite slim but possesses a congruent length to the bowl, keeping the profile balanced and proportional. Furthermore, an abbreviated saddle stem features a slim briar accent on its base that provides a seamless complement to the chestnut smooth finish on the stummel, which highlights swaths of tightly-packed cross grain on the flanks and sweeping cross grain on the fore, aft, and rim.
