Italian Estates: Rinaldo Lithos Apple (YY) Tobacco Pipe

Elio and Guido Rinaldo have been making pipes together since 1974, getting their start in one of Pesaro's major workshops before establishing their own brand, Rinaldo, in 1987. To this day, every pipe produced by the workshop is crafted solely by the two brothers, with the utmost attention paid to every aspect of the pipes' performance and comfort, both in hand and between the teeth. This Apple is a pert and plump pipe that's quite compact overall, coming in at less than five inches long and holding a bowl nearly two inches tall. Said bowl rests atop a rounded heel and boasts thick walls that climb up to a mid-set waist before tapering to the rim, its hearty presence filling the hand. A wide transition leads to a thick shank that's paired to a trim saddle stem, the black acrylic matching the dark rustication of the stummel well.
