Ser Jacopo's Gem series is reserved for some of the finest briars the Pesaro workshop has to offer. Not only are these pipes immaculately shaped, but they also possess incredible grain. The line is distinguished by its grading system, which uses gemstones to denote the quality of each pipe, ascending in order from Smeraldo ("Emerald"), Granato ("Garnet"), Zaffiro ("Sapphire"), and Rubino ("Ruby"), to Brillante ("Diamond"). This Zaffiro-graded paneled bent Dublin boasts two Maxima stamps, which denote the pipe's robust size. Shape-wise, this piece features a tall, faceted bowl that stands at the fore of a sweeping shank-and-stem arrangement. The bowl houses a capacious chamber within its geometric frame, ensuring plenty of long, leisurely smoking sessions, which the shank and stem are poised to aid. An auburn smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights vibrant flame grain across the bowl's flanks, while a band of 18K gold adorns the junction and ties the composition together with a dose of flash.
