Though not defined enough to be considered paneled, this bent Dublin from Moretti does display a rectangular orientation to its rim, the flanks pinched and the fore and aft lines flattened. Such shaping, combined with the thick insulating walls about the chamber, makes for a substantial in-hand feel, while the vibrant contrast stain highlights whorls of birdseye at the flanks and consistent cross grain across the rim. Paired handsomely to a stem of cream and caramel-hued acrylic, it's a bold, Italian take on the shape chart standard.
