Italian Estates: Ser Jacopo Smooth Acorn with Silver (Opus) (L2) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-41047
Ser Jacopo was founded in the 1980s by legendary pipe maker Giancarlo Guidi. The workshop cultivated their signature Pesaro style, which delights in dramatic flourishes and whimsical stylings, even more so than the already playful Italian tradition. Sadly, Guidi passed away in 2012, but Ser Jacopo carries on his legacy. This Acorn by Ser Jacopo possesses a supple, flared bowl that is set at a pronounced forward cant, which, along with the demure arc of the shank-and-stem arrangement, imbues this piece with a palpable momentum. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in a warm smooth finish and paired to a stem fashioned from jet-black acrylic, the junction here accented with a shining band of silver: manifesting an timeless, elegant aesthetic.
