Italian Estates: Ser Jacopo Smooth Devil Anse (L2) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-41259

Popularized by the Hatfields & McCoys TV miniseries from 2012, the Devil Anse design has since been interpreted by many pipe makers, with this particular iteration imbued with the Italian workshop's playful, dramatized shaping style. The pronounced, forward-canting bowl is Egg-shaped with a bit of extra plumpness per Pesaro style, while the gradually tapering shank and stem are crisply paneled in a square-shaped configuration. Often depicted in Nosewarmer length and with a round shank, the Devil Anse here is lengthy and faceted for a unique, whimsical profile. Furthermore, it's wearing a handsome honey-blonde stain, highlighting lovely birdseye along either flank.
