Italian Estates: Ser Jacopo Rowlette Partially Rusticated Calabash (Maxima) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-41274

Named after an Italian nobleman, Ser Jacopo was founded by famous craftsman Giancarlo Guidi after leaving the Mastero de Paja workshop. Ser Jacopo is known for crafting classically rendered Italian pipes with unique, flourished finishes. This Dublin by Ser Jacopo showcases the workshop's Rowlette rustication, which features stylized carvings around the bowl to resemble dripping wax. Stamped "Maxima," this piece is larger than the usual offering from the Pesaro cavers, with a towering bowl at the fore of a smartly bent shank-and-stem arrangement. Said bowl is formed by walls that flare from a soft heel to a domed, stylized rim. The vaulted shank and curved mouthpiece promote a comfortable smoking posture and maintain the Calabash design's recognizable sweeping gesture. A warm auburn stain dresses the stummel, providing a nice contrast for the smooth and highly textured finishes throughout.
