Italian Estates: Castello Old Antiquari Great Line Bent Dublin (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-41343
From the mind of Italian artisan Carlo Scotti, Castello was founded in 1947 with the goal of offering handmade pipes that exude quality in both form and function. Working together with Luigi Radice and Peppino Ascorti, the three would serve as key innovators in defining Italian neoclassical pipe design. As part of Castello's Great Line series, this bent Dublin possesses a strapping physique. The bowl stands tall with an upright posture, its walls flaring from a rounded heel and reaching toward a flat rim. Out back, a lean, muscular shank turns sharply upward and subtly tapers toward an acrylic military mount fitted with a smooth briar accent. Adjoined to the mount is a bent, push-style stem, pairing well with the shank's posture to allow for comfortable jaw hanging. Dressing the stummel is a warm, crisp sandblast, save for the rim, which displays whorls of birdseye benath a smooth finish.
