We've received dozens and dozens of Dublins from Claudio Cavicchi over the years, but vanishingly few like this. The diamond shank unequivocally imbues the piece with an air of Bulldog, its crisp ridgelines lending structure to the overall presentation, while the bowl rises from a firm heel and expands to a domed rim in Dublin fashion. Few Dublins present such a structured and muscular form, and here that character is elevated by the honey-blonde stain of the Cavicchi workshop, illuminating tight vertical grain on all flanks.
