Italian Estates: Caminetto Rusticated Bent Dublin Sitter (08) (AT) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-41459
The Caminetto workshop was founded by Luigi Radice and Guiseppe Ascorti in the late 1960s, the pair establishing the brand after a lengthy tenure with Castello. Caminetto pipes quickly became a success, their unique design language cementing them as one of Italy's most respected makers. They've become especially renowned for their craggy rustications, with many of their pipes showcasing highly textural carving across their stummels. Featuring a tall, forward-urging bowl and a nearly vertical, elongated, lightly bent stem for a pleasant counterbalance, this bent Dublin from Caminetto boasts a graceful, striking profile. An easy transition allows for the natural draping of a thumb, while a small, flattened heel enables it to sit quite sturdily. This piece is dressed in a dark rustication, with the rim and most of the shank wearing a complementing smooth, ruby stain.
