Italian Estates: Caminetto Rusticated Bent Egg with Silver Spigot (08) (AR) (9mm) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-41460
The Caminetto workshop was founded by Luigi Radice and Guiseppe Ascorti in the late 1960s, the pair establishing the brand after a lengthy tenure with Castello. Caminetto pipes quickly became a success, their unique design language cementing them as one of Italy's most respected makers. They've become especially renowned for their craggy rustications, with many of their pipes showcasing highly textural carving across their stummels. This bent Egg features a forward-urging bowl and a graceful, sweeping appearance to its profile. The bowl-centric design and generously sized chamber firmly place it within the Italian neoclassical school in terms of its proportions. However, it feels wonderfully natural in hand as the transition provides an easy thumb rest. The silver spigot is a beautiful touch, adding durability and a touch of elegance to the overall presentation, while its gently downturned, tapered stem further emphasizes the bowl's presence.
