Italian Estates: Castello Trademark Bent Apple (N) (G) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-41518

From the mind of Italian artisan Carlo Scotti, Castello was founded in 1947 with the goal of offering handmade pipes that exude quality in both form and function. Working together with Luigi Radice and Peppino Ascorti, the three would serve as key innovators in defining Italian neoclassical pipe design. With a hearty build and a poised posture, this bent Apple from Castello possesses a figure akin to the classic Author shape. The bowl is pert and plump, its figure formed by thick walls curving from a broad base toward a flat rim. An abbreviated shank lifts out of a defined transition from the bowl and pairs to a demurely bent tapered stem. Castello's Trademark finish dresses the stummel, with a rich, ruby-hued stain revealing handsome grain throughout
