Italian Estates: Caminetto Sandblasted Bent Dublin with Silver (06.35) (AR) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-41524
The Caminetto workshop was founded by Luigi Radice and Guiseppe Ascorti in the late 1960s, the pair establishing the brand after a lengthy tenure with Castello. Caminetto pipes quickly became a success, their unique design language cementing them as one of Italy's most respected makers. They've become especially renowned for their craggy rustications, with many of their pipes showcasing highly textural carving across their stummels. Sleek and stylish, this bent Dublin from the Caminetto workshop reflects their shaping and finishing talents. The tall, forward-ebbing bowl flares toward the rim from a firm heel, with a compact length of trim, round shank and slender saddle stem leaving the visual focus on the bowl in neoclassic style. This silver-accented piece is dressed in a black-ruby sandblast, with similar tones complementing the smooth rim and shank sides. Handsome ring grain across the bowl shines through as well, while beautiful birdseye dots the aforementioned rim.
