Italian Estates: Caminetto Sandblasted Rhodesian (06) (AR) Tobacco Pipe

While we've received a fair few Rhodesian renditions from Caminetto in the past, we've never seen one that looks quite like this example. I don't mean to exclusively point to the subtle sinuousness that possesses this entire composition, nor to the plump, subtly flaring, Acorn-like bowl, but rather to both, as both are extremely unique features we've seldom if ever seen from the Italian workshop's Rhodesian renditions. The bowl here sits atop a sweeping heel and expands to a domed rim that's marked by the faintest of ridgelines, the shaping soft and comforting in the hand, especially when paired to such a wide transition. The shank and stem take on a gracile S-curve in profile, with the tapered shape of the stem providing consistent curvature beneath, its cumberland hues matching the sandblast of the stummel and adding further uniqueness to this piece.
