Displaying a voluptuous base and smooth taper to the rim, this palm-filling bent Brandy from Claudio Cavicchi features smooth curves throughout. The rounded, arching shank and lightly downturned stem are far more trim, throwing the visual weight back to the bowl in neoclassical style. Bearing four "C" grade stamps out of a possible five, this piece displays remarkable grain. Dense striations of flame grain rise from the broad, birdseye-soaked heel base, but then the Italian artisan is known for the beautiful grain he can coax from briar. Dressed in a handsome honey-blonde stain, the stummel is topped by a gorgeous acrylic stem of vibrant, complementing colors.
