Italian Estates: Caminetto Nera Hawkbill (05) (AT) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-41886

In the late 1960s, two Castello pipe makers, Giuseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, left to found their own workshop, Caminetto. Their skilled craftsmanship grew Caminetto into one of the most popular marques of the 1970s and beyond. This Hawkbill by Caminetto possesses the shape's requisite aquiline shank-and-stem arrangement, as the shank arcs sharply upward from the transition before gently returning to parallel, while the abbreviated saddle stem presents a demure downturn to the bit. The muscular shank and stem are paired to a shapely Billiard bowl, with the bowl's supple curves further accentuated by the high-set transition. Furthermore, the stummel is dressed in the inky smooth finish of Caminetto's seldom-seen Nera series, imbuing this piece with the elegant appeal of a dress pipe.
