Ardor was founded in 1974 by father-son duo Angelo and Dorelio Rovera. Today, Damiano and Dimitri Rovera continue the workshop's family legacy. Ardor pipes begin with classical shapes, which are sublimely crafted into wholly original creations. This Volcano by Ardor features a tall, full-bodied bowl that tapers from its wide, ample heel to its comparatively taut rim. A high-kicking shank-and-stem arrangement balances the muscular bowl and promotes a comfortable smoking posture from which to enjoy the pipe's capacious tobacco chamber. Dressing this piece is a smoky smooth finish that highlights gorgeous grain across the briar's surface.
