Italian Estates: Wally Frank Limited Smooth Acorn Tobacco Pipe

Originally a chain of pipe shops in and around New York City, Wally Frank was one of the most respected names in the American pipe making sphere, and they offered their own line of pipes made by a variety of different pipe makers. This Acorn is one such pipe, presenting with a plump, pert bowl whose walls expand out of a rounded heel, reaching a high-set waist marked with a slight dome into the chamfered rim. Out back, a short shank lifts gently out of a wide transition, meeting a domed military mount of black vulcanite that accepts a matching, tapered stem that's subtly bent for comfortable smoking. Dressed in a warm, rich stain, the stummel showcases plenty of handsome grain throughout.
