The Savinelli "305" combines a softly curved Dublin-like bowl with a triangular shank and a firm heel. The tobacco chamber is wide, as with classic Pot shapes, but is conically shaped, tapering from the broad rim to the floor of the chamber. Characterizing Savinelli's creative scope in shaping, and unifying elements from the Bulldog, Dublin, and Pot, the "305" marries crisp ridgelines with soft curves for an unbeatable combination of textures. This particular example wears Savinelli's smooth Aurelia finish, highlighting the briar's natural grain in a ruby-hued stain.
