Italian Estates: Savinelli Nonpareil Sandblast with Horn (9614) Tobacco Pipe

Savinelli's Nonpareil line finds its name's origin in French, stemming from roots that combine to mean "without equal." This series has been discontinued, but consisted of hand-selected briar, either sandblasted or finished smooth, revealing wonderful grain and fitted to mounts of either horn-patterned acrylic or genuine horn. This sandblasted "9614" bent Billiard is a fine example of that series, with its handsome grain and striking horn mount, resulting in a fine-looking pipe and great smoker that should hang comfortably from the jaw.
