Italian Estates: Caminetto Red Briar Bent Egg (KS) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-42300

In the late 1960s, two Castello pipe makers, Giuseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, left to found their own workshop: Caminetto. Their skilled craftsmanship grew Caminetto into one of the most popular marques of the 1970s and beyond. This "KS" bent Egg by Caminetto features a tall, full-bodied bowl that tapers from its plump, rounded heel to its taut, flat rim. Said bowl is positioned at the fore of a flared shank and a steeply curved off-set saddle stem, the latter of which promotes a comfortable, hands-free smoking posture. Dressing this piece is a dark, ruby-tinged smooth finish that highlights gorgeous grain across the briar's surface.
