Made by Cesare Barontini in Livorno, Italy, Aldo Velani pipes are characterized by their distinctively Italian character, replete with muscular proportions and stylish shaping. This bent Dublin from Aldo Velani features a pert bowl, with smooth walls flaring gradually from the rounded heel to the flat rim. The shank turns upward out of a broad transition and rounds out at the shank end, where it pairs to a willowy, tapered stem fashioned from vibrant, shimmering acrylic. Dressing the stummel is a deep, chestnut stain that reveals handsome grain all throughout.
