Italian Estates: Ehrlich Sandblasted Bent Dublin with Silver Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-42455

Boasting a hundred years of family-run operation from 1868-1968, the David P. Ehrlich Company owned a pipe, cigar, and tobacco shop in Boston, Massachusetts. Though now defunct, the brand gained notoriety for its service and high-quality house-made pipes. This bent Dublin was made for Ehrlich but comes from Italy, and it showcases a sleek, sinuous look that naturally draws the eye to the fore. A rather wide transition gives way to a short, lifting shank that tapers as it reaches toward a similarly tapering stem of black vulcanite: the pair meeting at a silver-wrapped junction. A firm heel supports the bowl's measured flare out to a broad rim, the walls canting forward as they do and providing ample space to showcase the stummel's crisp, inky sandblast.
